WHAT RESIDENTS THINK OF COUNCIL PLANS FOR STAINES
620 residents participated in the independently managed survey of views on various aspects and consequences of Spelthorne Borough Council’s plans for Staines (as part of its ‘Spelthorne Local Plan’ for approval by the government Planning Inspector). 77% of participants were Staines residents, the rest from elsewhere in the borough; but their views were consistent. The findings are a damning indictment of the proposals.
